An AI assistance device in a bear form factor: the functions of a mini-phone, operated by voice, in a shell you are willing to leave on the desk. The head separates so earpods seat in the cavity and charge on contact, and the limbs and ears are drawn as separate mouldings — which keeps the tooling simple and makes a colourway a material change rather than a new tool. It is a drawing, HB·001, issued 04 January 2024, and it is in development; HOB Bot, the software that gives it a voice, ships alongside it rather than ahead of it.
The study
A smooth shell with rounded ears and a digital screen that renders expressive, pixelated eyes. The proportions are the point: a device people pick up without being asked to.
Branding sits on the side panels rather than the face, so the display stays the only thing that changes.
The head separates. Earpods seat inside the cavity and charge on contact.
Front, side, top and back, drawn to the dimensions recorded on HB·001. The full 360° set exists because the shell is tooled, not enclosed in a case.
Board, battery, speaker and display stack inside a two-part shell. Limbs and ears are separate mouldings, which keeps the tooling simple and the colourways open.
Every part that carries a finish, laid out as drawn. Each is a separate moulding, so a colourway is a material change rather than a new tool.
